The board of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of Missouri will host Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde for a virtual discussion of her book, How to Be Brave, Decisive Moments in Life and Faith, on Tuesday, August 25 at 6 p.m.The Right Reverend Budde, the Episcopal Bishop of Washington, garnered national attention for her homily at the January 2025 interfaith prayer service following Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration when she called for compassion and mercy toward marginalized groups.
